Welcome to the Burkburnett Volunteer Fire Department Website!  Did you know your fire department is 100% volunteer?  The dedicated professional's you see answering fire calls in and around town are all citizen's of Burkburnett that put themselves in harms way to provide this service to you!  Our volunteers work hand and hand with the Burkburnett EMS Department who provide two Paramedics 24/7 to handle any emergency that may arise!  Between your professional volunteer firefighters, and the fulltime staff of the Burkburnett EMS and Police Department's, Burkburnett's Emergency Response Services stand ready to serve you, your family, friends and all those who visit our great city.

26 June – firefighters were called to a smoke detector sounding in the 2300 block of JB Riley Road, arriving on scene firefighters found the detector in trouble.  The area was checked and turned over to the home owner.


28 June – firefighters were called to a grass fire on Walker Road near FM 368, crews arrived in the area locating a fire in a heavily wooded area.  The area was difficult to reach, crews conducted burn out operations to eventually controlled the fire.  Units were on scene for about 4 hours Sunday afternoon.


29 June – firefighters were called to round bales of hay on fire near the old Delphi plant on I-44, on arrival crews found bales out in the middle of a plowed field with no chance of fire spread, the situation was left with the land owner.
